This compact privacy policy informs you about the specific data processing within the scope of our internal training and education platform ("LearningKitchen").
For all fundamental information regarding the processing of personal data in our company, storage periods, as well as your data subject rights (such as access, deletion, correction), please refer to our comprehensive company privacy policy.
1. Purpose of Data Processing
This platform serves exclusively for the organization, registration, and administration of internal employee training courses. To fulfill this purpose, we process registration data (usually name and email address) as well as your individual course bookings.
2. Technologies and Service Providers Used
To provide this platform securely and with high performance, we rely on specialized cloud service providers who act as data processors strictly bound by our instructions.
Hosting and Delivery (Netlify)
The website is hosted via the infrastructure of Netlify. Every time the platform is accessed, connection data (e.g., IP address, date and time of the request, browser type) is automatically processed for technical reasons. This is strictly necessary to deliver the website and to ensure the security and stability of the system.
Database and Authentication (Supabase)
For the management of user accounts (login) and the storage of training data, we use the backend service Supabase. When you log in or register for a course, the corresponding data (email address, encrypted passwords/authentication tokens, course assignments) is stored in the Supabase database. Supabase handles the secure processing of the login process.
Next.js and Session Management
The application is based on the Next.js framework. To identify you on the platform after logging in and to maintain your session, we use exclusively technically strictly necessary session cookies or authentication tokens. No tracking or analysis cookies are used to monitor your behavior on the platform.
